A few useful tips for cycling

Arrive in comfortable, sporty clothing and choose closed shoes that allow you to ride safely. Bring water, sun protection, a weather-appropriate top layer and a small backpack for your personal belongings.

We provide the helmet and the lock, but for your own comfort it is worth thinking in advance about the route, distance and pace you would like to choose. If you are unsure, ask for recommendations at the base.

No, we provide a helmet with the rental. If you have your own well-fitting helmet, of course you may use that as well.

What happens if the rented bike gets damaged?

The bikes are handed over in a maintained, ready-to-use condition, but the renter is responsible for the bike during the rental period. If any damage, malfunction or accident occurs during the tour, please inform the HungaroRaft team as soon as possible so we can help with the next steps.

In the case of a technical issue that occurs during proper use, we will of course do our best to find a solution. However, if the bike is damaged due to improper use, a fall, negligence or intentional damage, the cost of repair or replacement may be charged to the renter. For this reason, it is worth choosing a route that matches your own cycling experience and always using the bike responsibly.
