About Us
The history of HungaroRaft is built on a love for the Soča Valley, a dedication to whitewater sports and decades of local experience. Since 1997, we have been organizing rafting, canyoning and active adventure programs in Slovenia, around Bovec, where the crystal-clear Soča, mountains and wild and romantic canyons form the backdrop of our everyday lives.For us, rafting is not a simple service, but a shared experience. A successful tour is not only about exciting water sections, but also about safety, good mood, smooth organization and ensuring that all our guests return to base confident, relaxed and full of experiences.
The HungaroRaft team consists of experienced, qualified tour guides, whitewater experts and enthusiastic organizers. We have internationally recognized instructors, guides with a competitive background, lifeguards, teachers, physiotherapists and young, energetic tour guides. We have in common that we love the river, we know the area, and it is important to us that our guests are not just participants arriving on an assembly line, but receive real attention.
We are waiting for you in Bovec with our own base, equipment and transfer, so that the adventure is not a logistical task, but a comfortable and enjoyable program. We take our guests to and from, help them prepare, provide the necessary equipment and are there for them throughout the tour.
We believe that a safe adventure starts with the right team. Whether you are trying whitewater rafting for the first time or you are an experienced adventurer, you will be looked after by people who have acquired the knowledge they pass on in the rivers, canyons and whitewater environments of the world on their journeys, which they pass on today in the Soča Valley.

Hello, I'm Balázs, I've been a tour guide at HungaroRaft for 9 years. Few people can tell you about themselves, but I was born into the rafting life. My parents threw me into the "deep water" when I was 4 years old, and back then I never thought that this would become my dream job. I like to be humorous, goofy and have a good time on the boat, but I'm not good enough on my own for that.

Hello! I am a 29-year-old teacher and physiotherapist from Bendegúz – but in the summer I am a rafting and canyoning tour guide at HungaroRaft. This is my 7th season with the team. I love nature, the excitement and the good atmosphere. Due to my teaching experience, I can easily communicate with children. I am waiting for you with open arms!

I have been going to the Soca River for 15 years, since I was 3 years old. I have been working as a canoe guide for two years. Water is my natural medium, as I play water polo, so I feel great both under and above the water. For me, a good mood and safety are the most important things during rafting tours.
