Exclusive Fun-Rafting on the Soča River
Enjoy the exclusive experience with only your own group and your guide! The turquoise water of the Soča, the refreshing waves of the rapids and the alpine landscape around Bovec together create an experience you will remember not just as a program, but as a real shared adventure. During private fun-rafting, you get more of the water, more of the playfulness and more attention from the guide than on a traditional, larger group rafting tour.
What makes this tour special is that the professional photo album is included in the price. You do not have to worry about protecting your phone from the water; you only need to be in the moment: paddle, laugh, hold on, splash and experience the Soča at its most adventurous.
What is fun-rafting?
Fun-rafting is whitewater paddling guided in a smaller, more agile raft boat or playboat, offering a more personal and more playful experience than classic large-boat rafting. The boat reacts faster to the movement of the water, you are closer to the waves, and the guide can give the team more direct attention. This makes it an ideal choice for groups of friends, couples, families and smaller private groups looking for a more memorable Soča adventure.
How is it different from classic rafting?
Classic rafting takes place in a larger boat, with more participants and usually at a more general pace. Exclusive Fun-Rafting, on the other hand, is more private, with a maximum of 4 participants, your own guide, and a more direct and dynamic format. The guide focuses only on your group, the atmosphere of the program can be better adjusted to your group's energy, and thanks to the smaller boat, the waves of the Soča feel more intense.
If you are looking for a rafting tour in Bovec with more playfulness, more personal attention and more memories, this program is for you.
Photo package included in the price
Photos are also taken during the tour; during the program, the guides use OM System Tough cameras to take excellent pictures, so you do not have to risk your own phone or camera on the water. After the program, you can view the pictures in an online album, and we will send them to you free of charge!
How the Exclusive Fun-Rafting works, in brief
1. Arrival at the HungaroRaft base in Bovec
HungaroRaft base: This is where we meet, complete the necessary administration and provide you with your rafting equipment. Arrival / meeting is approx. 10 minutes before the agreed time.
2. Equipment and transfer to the river
We provide the equipment needed for the tour, then take you by transfer to the starting point.
3. Safety briefing before getting on the water
In 10-15 minutes, the guide explains the basics of paddling, the signals and the most important safety information.
4. Rafting on the Soča River
From the base, participants reach the river by comfortable minibus, which is about a 15-minute journey. Then comes getting dressed in neoprene suits. The total duration of the program is approximately 2.5-3 hours, and the guide adjusts the atmosphere of the program to your group: there can be more games, more momentum, more interaction with the water, or a more relaxed pace if that is what you need.
5. Return to the base
At the end of the tour, we take you back to the center (approx. 20 minutes), where you can change, rest and view the photos taken during the tour.
What is included in the price?
The price includes everything needed for an organized rafting tour:
- 5-star private guiding
- rafting boat and paddle
- helmet and life jacket
- neoprene equipment adapted to the weather and water temperature
- transfer between the base and the river
- safety briefing
- organization and on-site assistance
- Professional photo album included in the price
- Payable separately: the local river usage fee.
Why the Exclusive Fun-Rafting tour is a great choice
It gives you a more personal experience, because you do not join a mixed group; instead, you set off on the water with your own family or friends. The
private guide focuses only on you throughout the tour, so the pace, mood and rhythm of the program are adapted to you.
The price also includes the
free photo album, so you do not need to take a phone or camera onto the water. You can fully enjoy your shared Soča adventure, while we capture the best moments.
Who is Exclusive Fun-Rafting recommended for?
Exclusive Fun-Rafting is for those who do not want to adapt to a large, mixed group, but would rather experience one of the Soča's most exciting water programs with their own company. It is an ideal choice for groups of friends, couples, adventurous families, smaller corporate teams and anyone looking for a more personal experience than standard rafting.
Exclusive Fun-Rafting can be a good choice if...
If it is important to you that the guide pays attention to you throughout the tour. In the smaller boat, you do not get lost in the crowd: every paddle stroke, every maneuver and every laugh feels closer. This tour is a whitewater experience, shared play and premium memory-making all in one.
Exclusive Fun-Rafting is recommended for those who
- are looking for a private rafting experience on the Soča River,
- do not want to paddle in the same boat with strangers,
- find it important that the photo album is included in the price,
- would like to try whitewater in a smaller, more agile boat,
- are arriving with friends or family,
- want a more active, playful and personal program,
- are looking for a spectacular, memorable adventure around Bovec.
Who is this not the best choice for?
If you are looking for a completely calm, child-friendly, easier water program with the youngest children, then the family rafting tour may be ideal instead. And if you would like to try the most classic, large-boat Soča rafting experience, then the standard rafting tour will be the more suitable choice.
What does a private rafting experience mean?
Private rafting means that you do not share the boat experience with strangers, but with your own group. The guide adapts the communication, atmosphere and some playful elements of the program to your team. This makes the tour more personal, more flexible and much more memorable than a standard group rafting tour.
Conditions and safety on the Exclusive Fun-Rafting tour
Fun-rafting is a more adventurous and dynamic experience than easier family rafting, so it is important that participants are generally in good physical condition, feel comfortable in a water environment and follow the guide's instructions. The Soča is beautiful, but it is a living river: water level, weather and the composition of the group always influence exactly which section the tour takes place on and with what intensity.
Before the tour, you receive a detailed safety briefing. The guide explains paddling technique, commands, the rules of sitting in the boat and what to do if someone falls into the water. The goal is for the adventure to be exciting, while remaining controlled throughout.
What does II–IV whitewater difficulty mean?
II–IV whitewater difficulty means that the tour can range from easier, more playful sections all the way to more technical and exciting rapids. The exact route is always chosen based on the current water level, weather and the preparedness of the group. This is what makes fun-rafting special: the program is not a sterile sightseeing tour, but a real, living whitewater experience.

How to prepare before Exclusive Fun-Rafting?
The full program usually takes approximately 2.5–3.5 hours, including arrival, changing, transfer, safety briefing, time on the water and return. The water experience itself is intense, so it is worth arriving without rushing, with enough time to get into the mood.
Your dedicated, 5-star-rated guide focuses exclusively on your group's experience and enjoyment, providing not only safety but also an unforgettable, personalized program. In addition, every euphoric moment is captured professionally in a free photo album, ensuring that your exclusive memories will last a lifetime.
What should you bring?
Swimsuit or swim shorts, towel, your own medication, dry change of clothes, a bag for your clothes, and if needed, money or a card for additional items.
What should you not take onto the water?
Phone, valuable jewelry, glasses that cannot be secured, high-value items. You can leave these in a safe place before the tour. If you wear glasses, it is worth securing them with a strap. For contact lenses, it is recommended to bring spare lenses or glasses as well.
When should you arrive?
At least 15 minutes before the agreed time, because there is administration, equipment distribution and group allocation.
What should you expect physically?
This is not passive boating: you need to paddle, pay attention and cooperate. It is best if participants arrive rested and in good general condition.
Weather and water level:
In case of high water levels, bad weather or unsuitable safety conditions, the program may be modified. In such cases, the guides may suggest a safer section, another time or another solution. On whitewater, the best experience is always the one that can be enjoyed responsibly.
Equipment and guiding
We provide the necessary whitewater equipment: helmet, life jacket, neoprene suit, neoprene shoes, paddle and the fun-raft boat. The tour is led by an experienced guide, who takes care not only of safety, but also of the atmosphere, rhythm and playful experiences.
In brief
Arrive in a swimsuit or swim shorts, and bring a towel and a change of clothes. The rafting equipment, transfer and guiding are provided by HungaroRaft.
What should you expect regarding the photo album?
One of the great advantages of the tour is that the photo album is part of the price. This is especially valuable for a water program like this, because the best moments often happen exactly when no one could safely use a phone or camera. The photos help you relive the rapids, the laughter, the paddles hitting the water and the moment when the Soča truly pulls the team into the experience.
