Head Guide & Whitewater Rescue Technician

I have been guiding tours at HungaroRaft for 15 years, where I work as the company’s Head Guide and lead rafting guide. I have been living in Bovec and working on the Soča River for almost 10 years now, and it has become my second home.

My role is diverse: I coordinate and lead the rafting guides, while also working as a guide myself. On behalf of my fellow guides, I take responsibility for ensuring that the 5-star experience is the result of our entire team’s work.

I am responsible for the professional standard, the organisation of the tours, time management and the maximum safety of our guests. I make sure that every guide on our team is fully prepared and that we provide a top-quality service.

My expertise is based on experience gained in many different parts of the world. My reliability comes from my years in competitive sport and from the knowledge I have gathered on rivers across the globe.

I am a whitewater rescue technician certified by the Slovenian Ministry of Defence, and I have completed the advanced whitewater first aid course of the Slovenian Red Cross. I renew these qualifications every 3 years.

The experience and knowledge I also use in the Slalom Department of the Hungarian Canoe Federation help ensure that every guide on our team welcomes you with professional preparation and a consistent standard of expertise.

I have more than 15 years of experience on the Soča River. After all these years, I can feel every movement of the river and understand the needs of our guests: when needed, I make the difficult rapids feel easy, and I can make the easier sections more exciting. Everything is adapted to the needs of my guests.

Alongside the family-like, cheerful atmosphere, I do my best to represent the highest professional standards with my calm, friendly and reassuring personality.
