About us

We (Edina & Tamas) worked for more than 20 years for big international companies in various marketing roles. When Edina moved to Etyek village, she immediately fell in love with the region and the people. After organising a few parties and tastings for friends in the local cellars, we decided that we want to share this unique experience with guests visiting Budapest. We are very proud of the historic heritage and the quality wines of our country and we love sharing this experience with our friends from all over the world. In 2019 we had more than 8.000 guests on our small group tours and after two difficult COVID year we hope in 2022 more guests will choose the Etyek Wine Tour again.

Hello, I'm Balázs, I've been a tour guide at HungaroRaft for 9 years. Few people can tell you about themselves, but I was born into the rafting life. My parents threw me into the "deep water" when I was 4 years old, and back then I never thought that this would become my dream job. I like to be humorous, goofy and have a good time on the boat, but I'm not good enough on my own for that.

Hello! I am a 29-year-old teacher and physiotherapist from Bendegúz – but in the summer I am a rafting and canyoning tour guide at HungaroRaft. This is my 7th season with the team. I love nature, the excitement and the good atmosphere. Due to my teaching experience, I can easily communicate with children. I am waiting for you with open arms!

I have been going to the Soca River for 15 years, since I was 3 years old. I have been working as a canoe guide for two years. Water is my natural medium, as I play water polo, so I feel great both under and above the water. For me, a good mood and safety are the most important things during rafting tours.

I’m originally from Chilean Patagonia and have spent most of my life working on the river and in nature as a kayaker and rafting guide. I’m passionate about sharing outdoor adventures with others — and there’s nothing better than an ice-cold beer after a hot day on the water!
